A shocking incident shook Sitio Ugan, Lutac, Naga, Cebu, on the morning of January 27, 2025, at around 9:00 AM.
The suspect, identified as “Carlo,” was accused of brutally killing his wife and two children with a machete.
According to authorities, Carlo had been seen in a fit of rage and appeared mentally unstable. It was also suspected that he had been under the influence of illegal drugs, which may have triggered the gruesome crime.
Carlo fled the scene immediately after the incident, prompting a police manhunt.
Residents of the area were deeply alarmed and called for swift justice for the victims. “Have mercy on the children and the wife. How can we ever forget this? We hope he will be caught soon,” said one grieving neighbor.
