MAMBAJAO, Camiguin – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-10, in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), facilitated a three-day Entrepreneurial Development Training (EDT) for 25 representatives, two co-partners, and five multi-purpose cooperatives at the TESDA Provincial Training Center in Compol, Catarman.
“The lecture-discussion focused on entrepreneurship, basic financial management, recording and simple bookkeeping, and business plan making. It ensured that trainees acquired the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude in handling and sustaining their respective businesses,” DOLE-10 Camiguin Provincial Field Office Chief Arlyn Z. Bael said.
She said EDT is one of the components of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Programme (DILP) that motivates promising entrepreneurs to upscaling and reinforcing their knowledge, skills, and attitude as they strive to improve their enterprises.
TESDA-10 guest speakers were Senior Technical Education and Skills Development (TESD) Specialist Alma G. Democer, representing Administrator Fabiana A. Abuzo; Senior TESD Specialist Alma G. Democer; TESD Specialist Tiffany O. Magada; and TESD Specialist Francine Jay G. Ligan.
