CAMIGUIN – Camiguin Water Company (CWC) will implement two major infrastructure projects to address long standing water supply challenges and improve service reliability in key communities.
The Cantaan and Cabuan Project, along with the Bonbon Reinforcement Project, will mark significant milestones in CWC’s commitment to delivering equitable and sustainable water access across the province.
The Cantaan and Cabuan Project is designed to improve water pressure and ensure a consistent, reliable supply for the barangays of Cabuan, Maac, and Benoni, bringing significant benefits to over 2,800 residents by enhancing their access to clean and reliable water.
A new booster pump will be installed to improve water distribution and accessibility, providing much-needed relief to underserved areas. These efforts highlight CWC’s commitment to expanding access and improving the quality of life for the residents of these communities.
Simultaneously, the Bonbon Reinforcement Project will upgrade water distribution infrastructure in Barangay Bonbon to ensure a reliable and resilient water supply for over 1,200 customers. The project includes installing new pipelines and upgrading existing ones to optimize water pressure, increase water availability, and minimize service interruptions.
By strengthening its infrastructure, CWC aims to reduce risks associated with aging systems while supporting the community’s economic growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
