CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Philippine Statistics Authority-Regional Statistical Services Office 10 (PSA-RSSO 10) announces the appointment of Janith C. Aves, CE, DM, as the new regional director effective Sept. 26, 2024.
National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa administered the oath of office of Aves in a ceremony held at the PSA Headquarters in Quezon City. Key Officials from PSA-Central Office (CO), regional directors, and staff from the field offices witnessed the activity.
Aves is the first woman to hold the position of regional director for PSA-RSSO 10 since the establishment of PSA.
She served as the officer-in-charge of PSA-RSSO 10 in 2018 and from 2021 to 2024. Prior to this, she was the chief statistical specialist of PSA-Misamis Oriental.
With her unwavering dedication, dynamic leadership, and 32 years of experience in public service, this well-deserved promotion is a testament to her outstanding contributions. (PSA-RSSO 10)
