CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) apprehended 123 individuals and seized over P2-million worth of illegal drugs in law-enforcement operations in Northern Mindanao from September 26 to October 2, 2024.
Brigadier General Jaysen de Guzman, acting regional director of PRO-10, commended on Thursday, October 3, all those behind the one-week accomplishment.
“I commend the dedication and relentless efforts of our personnel in sustaining the momentum in our campaign against illegal drugs, criminality, and other forms of lawlessness,” de Guzman said even as he vowed police operations with no let-up.
These, he said, would even be intensified as they “work hand-in-hand with the community to ensure a safer place to live, work, and invest.”
In anti-illegal drug campaign, PRO10 had 37 crackdowns that resulted to 50 arrests and confiscation of 294.666 grams of shabu, with a standard drug price of P2,003,729.00.
In anti-illegal gambling, PRO-10 had 20 operations that led to the arrest of 27 persons and seizure of P13,907.00 worth of gambling items.
In neutralizing wanted persons, PRO-10 had apprehended 45 suspects, including eight who have been tagged as most wanted persons and 37 other suspected criminals.
In the campaign against loose firearms (Kontra Boga), PRO-10 conducted four operations, which resulted to the arrest of an individual who yielded four small firearms. Operatives had 377 house visitations for Revitalized Katok (Bilang Boga), one voluntary surrendered a firearm for safekeeping. [From a PRO-10 report]
