CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy met and listened to the problems regarding the implemented new route of modernized public transport during the meeting held in his office Monday, Sept. 30.
Three transport groups have identified an existing problem with regard to the new route and asked Uy for their help to resolve it.
The mayor thanked the transport groups for visiting his office for this meeting.
Uy explained that he would try to help everyone and find ways to provide equality to every group especially the newest population affected by the problem.
“But not all that you want will be followed so I will ask for a little understanding and sacrifice,” he added.
With Atty. Jose Edgardo Uy, co-chairman of the Regulatory Compliance Board (RCB), presiding over the meeting based on the mayor’s order where Engr. Nonito Oclarit, department manager of the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA), as well as the representative of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB-10), were also present.
As requested also by the RCB co-chair, members of the transport group try to follow the new routes to fully observe and identify the problem, and what solutions should be done to resolve the pervasive issues being faced. (ALR | CIO)
